HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!  Where I live, people are trick or treating tonight (Saturday night), even though Halloween is official tomorrow.  Why?  Because Halloween is on a Sunday.  All of the stores are busy today and it was like a mad house everywhere.  The stores are pretty much out of everything.  I went to Costco to get some pizzas and a roasted chicken for dinner.  I like to hit the "easy button" and keeping things simple for myself.  It's only 5pm here and all of the trick-or-treaters are already here knocking on my door.  It's a warm day and night today.  So it's going to be a good Halloween.  I like to walk around with my kids and look at all of the decorations in my neighborhood.  I will share some pictures tomorrow.

Many of you have written to me to ask about my daughter.  Thank you so much!  I feel so loved.  My daughter is doing ok.  The doctor gave her some strong medication for the last few days and her condition is improving.  Even though she is still covered in some scarring and her skin looks like a world map, she is not itching anymore.  We will be taking her to a specialist to do some allergy tests.  I am letting her go out to trick or treat tonight because her condition is not contagious and she is not allowed to consume any of the candies.  But she is ok with that because she got her costume all ready and she didn't want to miss trick or treating with family and friends.
