Book Recommendation: The Butterfly Effect: How Your Life Matters

Creating Your Business Plan

Sometimes life can seem very overwhelming. You feel like you’re always busy, but nothing is happening. If this is you, let’s take a small break here and let me tell you about a book that I highly recommend to anyone who feels stuck in life, whether it’s business-related or not. Because the decisions you make impact everything even when you don’t think they are.

This book, The Butterfly Effect: How Your Life Matters by Andy Andrews, [PUT YOUR OWN AFF LINK HERE NOT MINE] does not take a long time to read, but once you are done, you will realize that you are the one in control of your life and destiny. The book explains why everything you do in life is important. If you feel as if you’re not important, you will realize how much that is not true after you read this book.

Every contribution you make or don’t make has an impact. The entire idea behind the words “the butterfly effect” is the idea that minimal actions or non-action can have a non-linear impact on the entire system. The wings of the butterfly are a symbol of this small action that can feel like a hurricane or tornado to the smaller life forms nearby.

Relating the butterfly effect to your business means that you will understand more about how a small act today can make a huge difference tomorrow. For example, let’s say you’re a Keto Coach and help women lose weight or get healthy on the Keto way of life, and you want to attract ten new members to your group coaching membership website. Due to time constraints, you have one hour twice a week to work on promoting membership.

Since you know the butterfly effect is real, you set up your schedule for those two hours to start collecting before and after stories that you add to your website. Then you really do it. Even if it takes weeks to add a new person to the stories, the impact it will make a year from now is substantial.

Another way to look at this is if you wanted to write a 100K word novel, but you only have one hour a day to write. Many people would say since I don’t have time, I’m not going to do it. But you do have a little time. You can do it in the hour a day, or even if you only have thirty minutes a week, you can still do it. If you devote yourself to that one hour regularly, it will happen. The same can be said for anything you have to do. Do a little bit at a time, and it will build and grow as long as you are doing it regularly and consistently.

To get the book, go to Amazon and order it. [PUT YOUR OWN AFF LINK HERE, NOT MINE] You can also get it at your public library since it’s not a brand-new book. You’re going to want to own it, though. After all, it’s a book that you can go back and read repeatedly and still get knowledge from it that creates a mindset of action taking because you know action taking gets results over time.
