Whoa! It’s only one day before Christmas.  And I don’t think that I am ready for that yet.  My kids have been waiting a whole year since last Christmas to be able to do it all over again.  My 6 year old actually counts down to the day and constantly asks me how long it is until Christmas.  He had asked the same question the day after Christmas last year and was very disappointed to learn that he had to wait another 364 days for the next Christmas.  😆  As for me, I am afraid that I won't have enough wrapping papers.  And I really don't feel brave enough to venture into the stores today.  It's too peopley outside! 

For those who are traveling, have fun and stay safe!  And for those who are staying at home, like me, there are so much to do.  I thought that I was supposed to be on break and holiday?!  Nope!  Moms Never takes holidays and neither do entrepreneurs apparently.  The truth is I love my business.  I check in on it as often as I can.  Now the best part about having an online business is that it is lower maintenance than having a brick and mortar store.  If you sell physical items then you’ll still have to deal with physical inventory and a warehouse.  And logistics can be a little stressful this time of the year.  Especially when there are so many factors that we as entrepreneurs cannot control and everyone wants their products to arrive in 2 days or less.  I can speak from experience because I've been selling physical goods online for a very long time.  And I used to get so much anxiety this time of the year.  Because everyone wants their items rush, the post office are slammed with too many packages to process, packages gets delayed and lost.  And everyone is frustrated.  I so appreciate all of the men and women who works for the retailers and post office this time of the year!  

But no matter how busy you are working, checking up on your businesses, and preparing for the holidays.  Don’t forget to do what is the most important.  And that is to spend time creating memories with your loved ones.  Years from now no one will remember what gifts they got for Christmas but they will remember that awesome time that you’ve spent laughing by the lighted fireplace.  

Back to creating memories and being super busy.  I was not planning to cook anything today because we will be having Christmas Dinner tomorrow at our parent's house.  But this morning, my husband went to the store and got a bunch of beef and veggies.  He has a special Christmas request for me to make my famous pineapple beef dish.  I don't usually have much time to cook, so I don't cook as often as I used to.  But since it's the Holidays, I couldn't say no.  So darn it!  There goes my plans for not doing anything today so that I can relax.
