I have a confession to make... I get anxiety when I have to write.  I don't know what it is that I don't like about writing.  I remember hating creative writing assignments when I was in school.  I thrive with research papers, but I cannot squeeze a fiction story out of me if I tried.  I am dry as a rock when it comes to writing anything creative.  So you haven't heard from me in a week and half because of a few reasons but at least 50% of it is the reason I stated above.  The other 50% is due to health issues that have prevented me from working more hours and of course homeschooling my kids is really sucking all of my time.  So being behind in my emails was really giving me anxiety and stressing me out.  And then that just caused me to go around in a vicious stress cycle.  And then I took a moment back and realized the whole reason why I went into this business model in the first place; it's to do what I love and spend more time with my kids.  So I hope that all of you will forgive me for not writing to you as often.  But I figured that everyone has been bombarded so much with holiday deals and shiny objects that you won't mind missing another email from me. 

As the holidays are upon us, I would like to wind down.  I know many sellers are busy pushing products this time of the year but I really don't want to do that.  The whole reason why I got into what I am currently doing is because I want to avoid the holiday rush and enjoy the holidays with my family.  I want to spend time with my kids and not stress out about making or shipping products at this stressful time of the year.  My kids spend hours with me in my office where I am currently homeschooling them and they want to camp out in my office every day. I asked them last night if they were sick of hanging around mommy too much, and they said, "No, we love you!"  That did melt my heart.  And I felt like I made the right decision not to stress out at this time of year.  

For the last several years, I have always wound down my business towards the end of the year.  So that I don't have to push products so hard.  Usually this time of the year is where I plan for my next year.  And get a head start on putting my tax files together so that I don't procrastinate in the Spring, when taxes are due in the U.S.  I have perfected my work flow so that my income is steady throughout the year and not having to rely on the holiday season to make or break my business.  Follow along with me and I will show you how.
