This email was scheduled to deliver yesterday but somehow my autoresponder didn't send it out yesterday...Yikes! That happens to not just me but a few others in the online world too. And this problem consistently happens. Oh well, it's part of the business. Because it has happened to most of us running online businesses at one point or another. And randomly too.
Wow! What an awesome and productive day today. I am sorry for the late email but I have been on the go all day long today since early this morning. It's almost 10pm where I live and I realized that I hadn't eaten anything all day but a small side salad for lunch! Oh dear! I was so busy and focused on my work and my kids that I literally did not feel hungry. So protein shake it is for dinner again. I always remember to feed the kids (and pets) but I never remember to feed myself. LOL. Isn't that the truth?!
The Boost Your Profit With PLR Mastermind Group met up earlier this afternoon and it was such an awesome session. Sorry, we did not record it because there were A LOT of golden nuggets that were shared in that session and so we decided not to record the session and make it available for those who were not there live. As the holidays are coming up and A LOT of people are shopping online and buying physical goods from retailers like Amazon and other websites. The scammers are now targeting those major retailers and shipping companies like Fedex, UPS, DHL, and USPS, etc... What they are doing are sending out emails that look like they came from Amazon or UPS, etc... This is called Phishing. And the emails look very professional and legitimate from wherever they claim to be from. And in the email, it would always be something about "there is a problem with your order or there is a problem with the delivery of your package." And there is always a link in the email for you to click on that will lead you to the shipper or retailer websites. Well, when someone clicks on the link, it actually opens a portal for the scammer to hack the computer of the user and take it over (including all of your datas). And so many people have been at the mercy of these scammers and ransom wares to get their datas back. They always asks to be paid in Bitcoin too. That is another reason why Bitcoin needs to be regulated like all of the other currencies. My point is, this has happened to very smart people that I know, and there is a way to prevent all of this! You should NEVER click on the links in emails from your banks, UPS, Amazon. You should always go to the retailer's websites and login with your account. And then you can check on the status of your order. Also, Amazon have tracking where it tells you when you can expect the delivery of your package. And if your package is lost or late, Amazon will give you a refund. No need to worry if your package will be lost or late. You can also go directly to the app of these retailers and check on the status of your order. So you don't even have to log in to any websites.
Also Amazon has been troubled with a counterfeit problem. They have millions of merchants and they cannot regulate them all. So be careful when you are shopping for designer or high end items on Amazon. I NEVER buy electronic items on Amazon if I can help it. Because it always break on me and I have no way to get an easy exchange. And yes, I have bought warranty plans but the warranty plans are actually owned by a 3rd party company and it's terrible. They never replace, fix, or refund my money. And don't ever buy designer items on Amazon either. There is no way to guarantee that they are authentic. I also do not buy food items on Amazon either. There was a documentary (I forgot what channel, but I am sure you can google it on Youtube), that shows that there are sellers dumpster diving for foods, supplements, and cosmetics items from retailer's backdoor dumpsters and then selling those items on Amazon. Ewww! Why would you ever need to buy food items from Amazon anyways. Most local grocery stores now have apps and available grocery delivery services. You can even order online and pick up the items in the stores (drive-through).
