Keep Educating Yourself – One Course and One Coach at a Time

The Power Of One Challenge

You have learned so much in this challenge so far. It probably feels like a lot. But, it’s all about doing one thing at a time. Hopefully, you really are focusing on just one thing at a time. Because, in all honesty, no one can do more than one thing at a time and do it well. They just think they can because it is such a common ability that people ask for - “multitasking.” In fact, it is a myth that you need to let go of so that you can be super successful without all the stress.

The idea of taking one thing at a time includes the process of learning.

Of course, you want to learn it all right now. But what if I told you that it’s more important to learn one thing at a time and then implement and get good at it (or determine it’s not for you) before you move on?

Take One Course at a Time

There are courses for years online today. You could spend all your time taking courses and learning new and wonderful and amazing things, and still not have a business that is making money. But, if you take one course, and implement what you’ve learned now and as you’re taking the course, you’re going to get so much more out of it because you’re going to have proof that the method works, or doesn’t work.

If you give your all to a course, it’s going to be worth whatever you paid for it because it’s going to produce something real that you can measure. It is very tempting to take advantage of sales, or other things to get into something, but make no mistake, the sale will be around again. Maybe not exactly as it was, but you aren’t really going to miss out 100 percent when you pass something up because you’re already learning something from a different course right now.

Work with One Coach or Mentor at a Time

Find someone that you like their business model and you like how they do things and focus only on them for a period. Hiring coaches for different aspects of your business is a good thing, but not if you’re trying to divide your attention. Determine what your business needs most right now and hire a coach for that one thing. When that is perfected and you’ve done what your coach has recommended, move to the next thing.

It’s hard sometimes to stop yourself from investigating more information. There is so much out there, and we want to do it right. Plus, we all naturally have a fear of missing out. That amazing coach you want to work with is having an amazing sale today, but can you really devote your all if you’re already involved with another coach and haven’t finished that program yet? No, you can’t.

Remember, multitasking is a myth - even if you think you’re good at it. When you really try to focus on one thing at a time, especially when it comes to learning new concepts, you’re going to get much more out of it than if you try to do more than one thing at a time. Taking more than one course or having more than one coach may seem like it’ll get you to success faster, but the implementation is what’s going to get you to success faster. Do you have time to implement? Because that’s what you need to be doing right now.
